James and Polly know Europe and have been to Austria many times, so they know about the differences. They explain American education and healthcare, the world of work, talk about crime and guns, changes in society, mobility, climate change, and what life in general is like in the US. In which stores you can buy milk, bananas and pink revolvers. Black, brown and green ones as well, of course, plus ammunition. How much it costs to get your driver’s license. How much women earn compared to men. How health insurance is organized. At what age you can retire. Why the car is not a luxury, but a necessity. Why society is divided. And how beautiful the country is!
